“We were glad to be able to book an appointment on Sunday when our cat had a wound. We found Tracy to be very kind and caring towards our boy who is quite nervous. Highly recommend.”
About Us
We are located in Pipitea, Wellington, and welcome pets and pet parents from Thorndon, Pipitea, Te Aro and surrounding suburbs.
Who we are
Pet Doctors Thorndon is a relatively small and young Veterinary Clinic, growing under the direction of Dr Tracy Jones. Our Vets bring a combined experience of more than 40 years in the industry whilst our Veterinary Nurses have clocked up over 35 years.
We are committed to providing the highest level of professional veterinary service and care for your pets. Our team has experience and special interests in small animal medicine, dental care, nutrition, emergency care and more.
We are an all-female clinic and, whilst this is not by design, it is quite fitting because the clinic sits in the shadow of the Kate Sheppard apartments and the Beehive, servicing the community who live and work in the business district of Wellington. Our community also extends along the dockside of the City right up to the foothills of the Rimutakas and even up the Kapiti Coast. As the spring and summer get underway, we look forward to welcoming lots of new clients and companions through the doors.
- Vets with a great range of interests and expertise.
- Deep knowledge in medicine, surgery and animal behaviour
